Caso Ivanna Soto: Guy Brunetti, padre biólogico de Octavio y Luciano, escribió a la redacción de semanario La Prensa una carta, vía mail, dirigida a quien suscribe, Gerardo Debali, director de semanario La Prensa.
Con gusto publicamos la carta a continuación y en forma integra, en el entendido que lo hemos mencionado en nuestras notas y respetamos cabalmente su derecho a réplica. No obstante, lamentamos no comprender el contenido de la misma ya que está escrita en idioma inglés.
Al señor Brunetti le digo que así como sus hijos, soy uruguayo, hablo el idioma castellano y no leo, escribo ni hablo el idioma inglés, por lo tanto las disculpas del caso, mas aun en el caso que la carta requiera una respuesta.

I am asking for the removal of the Ivanna Soto story on your website and want a full retraction and apology. The story that Ms. Soto has given you is false and slanders my good name.I would expect a newspaper to publish the facts and the facts in this case are completely different from those Ms. Soto has stated in this article.
I am appalled that no one reached out to either myself or to my lawyers in Uruguay for a statement, which is the very least that a fair and balanced reporter/editor/newspaper should do. I and my lawyers World have immediately refuted these claims with a long list of facts as well as clear evidence that Ms. Soto’s claims are completely fictitious.
Nor, did anyone at your newspaper check the court records to see that there was no hint of any of these allegations until the courts recognized — after weighing the facts and both sides of the story– that Ms. Soto’s actions were both illegal and criminal in her abduction of my son.
She then had to create another «story» so she might be able to persuade public sentiment to her own ends. Please be aware that Ms, Soto is a manipulator and everything she does only has her own best interests at heart.
Any kind of investigation on your part – as a newspaper whose duty it is to report the truth and facts and not some story made up to serve Ms. Soto’s selfish goal of keeping me away from my children. If this story isn’t taken down and a retraction and apology for this breach of truth and journalistic ethics is not printed at once, I will be forced to take further action.
